The Run for Green Valleys is a multi-race event which is open to runners of all ages and abilities. The marked and timed courses will take you through some of the most beautiful countryside in northern Chester County, through farmland, forests, and clear-running streams.

Challenge yourself on our trail race, featuring stream crossings, fallen tree obstacles, and elevation changes along the best-known and scenic trail in northern Chester County!
Want to enjoy the scenery on a run just for fun? Bring the whole family to participate in our Fun Run/Walk around the beautiful ponds of Welkinweir’s arboretum and nature preserve! This 1-mile loop takes you on grassy trails around the ponds and meadows of our headquarters, over stepping stones and a bridge, before returning to the finish line near our parking lot.
The Run for Green Valleys raises funds for our Watershed Restoration Program. Join the Run and view for yourself the green valleys we strive to preserve.
