Preserving and Enhancing Community Freshwater Resources: Presentations from the Municipal Workshop

Planning Strategies and Tools that Preserve and Enhance Community Freshwater Resources:

A workshop for Pennsylvania municipal Environmental Advisory Councils (EACs) and engaged citizens

Saturday, December 2, 2017

8:30 a.m. – Noon

Historic Yellow Springs, Chester Springs, PA

Attendees to our 2017 workshop learned about the techniques, strategies, and resources they can use to preserve and protect their community’s fresh water from 10 water resource, planning, and conservation professionals. The workshop brought together members of municipal Environmental Advisory Councils, landscape architects, non-profit organization representatives, County employees, and concerned citizens for a morning of networking and thoughtful discussion about how to enact positive change in watershed and natural resource conservation at multiple scales – from projects with one or two landowners, to municipality-wide planning.

PDF files of speaker’s PowerPoint presentations from our 2017 workshop are included below. Click on each of the title screen images to view the presentation in a separate tab.
