Green Valleys Association Community Center ProgramsSchool and Organized
Group Programs

GVA offers environmental education programs for public, private and home school groups, as well as other organized groups such as birthday parties and churches.  There are a variety of programs to choose from that are designed to supplement teacher curriculums or group interests, but groups can also customize their own programs.  Programs take place at Welkinweir, schoolyards or classrooms, or other natural sites.

Community Center Programs from Green Valleys AssociationNature Explorers Clubs

During the school year, GVA presents after school Nature Explorers Clubs at various elementary schools in the Owen J. Roberts School District.  This series of 12 programs offer younger students a great alternative to TV and video games by immersing them in fun and educational nature activities on school grounds.  All sessions of Nature Explorers Club include short discussions, observing and investigating natural objects, exploring the school yard, and games and demonstrations to learn concepts.  Some sessions also include crafts and stories.

To find out if your school hosts this GVA after school program, and to register your child for upcoming sessions, please see the current program flyers on the side panel.School Programs from Green Valleys Association Green Valleys Association School Programs
