Native Plant Sale at 2006 ENVIROFEST
Saturday May 6, 2006, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
2006 Native Plant sale will be held at the Welkinweir Visitor Center and will feature a mix of native trees, shrubs, and perennials that are beautiful for your garden and will attract birds and butterflies. Cash, check, visa and mastercard accepted
Mothers Day Tea & Azalea Bloom Walk Sunday May 14, 2006, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Treat Mom to a delightful afternoon at Welkinweir.
A special springtime luncheon will be served on the terrace at the Estate House featuring a selection of tea sandwiches, mini quiches, scones, and sweets, hot and cold tea. Stroll the gardens and see our magnificent collection of azaleas at their peak. Enjoy a musical concert performed on a rare Skinner organ. Holiday Open House
The Holidays at Welkinweir showcase the festively decorated rooms of the Estate House; each room the work of local garden clubs and local horticulture students utilizing greens from Welkinweir's unususal conifer collection and other natural materials. Our rare Skinner organ will fill the house with the sounds of the season. Don't miss the Holidays at Welkinweir ... one of Chester County's most unique properties.
