Green Valleys Association will hold its annual community environmental festival, SpringFest, on Saturday May 7th, the peak of spring bloom at Welkinweir, our 197-acre arboretum and nature sanctuary.
This year’s SpringFest will feature family oriented demonstrations, programs, and tours designed to engage our community in our stewardship and education programs, and connect people to nature. Educational and entertaining for adults and children alike, featuring tree planting, fishing, nature and garden tours, live music, story telling, birds of prey, local foods, demonstrations, and much more.
